We read the Five Little Ducks and played some counting games. We practiced tracing letter D and did a cut and paste activity too. THANK YOU so much for practicing scissor skills at home!! And the tracing is looking great too! All of these activities help build your child's fine motor skills. We are still working on gripping our markers and crayons correctly. It is a hard habit to break but try to help your child every time you see that they are gripping incorrectly. Some of the students are starting to write the first few letters in their names!!! And a couple of students can write their entire name!! Woot! Woot! We will continue to practice writing our names and practice correct form. (Capital letter at the beginning and the rest lowercase) I just noticed that we read Five Little Ducks and I only gave the students four ducks on their paper to cut!! Way to go Mrs. Manning!! :/ In my defense....I had a really rough week!! Didn't feel too great Wednesday and Thursday. Hoping to feel better for the weekend....My son is coming home from college!!!! I am so excited to see him I can hardly stand it!! :)
Sariah brought some pretty cute duck treats to share for her snack today! There was a lot of quacking going on!!
Thank you Sariah!
