When we came to preschool today we had a couple of St. Patrick's Day books sitting on my chair. We noticed that a couple of our toys had been moved around and there was green glitter everywhere. We read our books and then we found something special at the end of our story. . . . It was a clue that the little leprechauns had left us!! ![]() We followed all of the Shamrock clues that led us all over the house.................and finally!!! We found the treasure! Mr. Leprechaun left us a pot of treats. ![]() Ava brought a really cute St. Patrick's Day treat for us to eat. A licorice rainbow with a marshmallow cloud and gold candy at the end!! ![]() We played games like Skittle Bingo and Count the Shamrocks and we practiced finding the letter S on lots of Shamrocks. We had a really fun day! On Tuesday we read our Alphatale Story. . . . Silly Snake. Silly Snake sings about things that start with letter S. It is a cute song and the kids love to sing it because we hold our noses when we sing about stinky socks!! We made a silly snake and we practiced writing our letter S. This is one of the trickiest letters to write. A few of them were getting frustrated but we remembered as long as we are trying and doing our best. . . . that is all that matters!!! We sang our "I think I can!" song and then someone said. . . Well, that song really DOES work. . . now I can make a letter S!! Dontcha love em!!?? Jansen brought SSSSunny D and Scrabble Cheez-its! They had fun searching for all of the letters in their names and of course the letter S!
