Say cheese!!  Love this cute snack!!  Thanks Ayden!
We talked a lot about taking care of our teeth.....brushing, flossing, and going to the dentist.
I showed the students pictures of some decayed teeth on the computer so they could see what happens when we don't take care of our teeth.  Some of them were so worried they could not wait to get home to brush!!  It was too cute!!

We practiced writing sentences and counting teeth!!  Ask your child to tell you what a period tells you to do when you are reading.  I kept their papers today to keep in their work folders.

We also read some stories about losing your teeth.  We talked a lot about the tooth fairy too!!  I love listening to their theories on what the tooth fairy does with all of the teeth she collects!!

All Aboard for some Busy Bee Preschool Fun!!  Today we sang one of our favorite songs that we sing all year long to help us to remember to never give up when things get tough....It is called "I Think I can!" It is hanging in our room with all of the trains we made at the beginning of the year.  We read The Little Engine that Could and listened to "Down by the Station".  We played the guessing game and the students guessed the letter T picture cards based on clues given.
We made trains and practiced writing letter Tt.  Chugga Chugga Toot Toot!!

After all of the Leprechaun shenanigans.....it was time to get back to work!!  We worked on letter Tt and read a book about a silly turtle.  We enjoyed Ava's adorable turtle apples for snack today!  I love healthy snacks and it was yummy too!  Ava also brought everyone turtle treat snacks with twizzlers and a turtle candy!! (my absolute favorite candy in the world just in case you wondered!! ;))  Her and her mommy made my turtle out of apple paper so it looks like a teacher turtle!!  Super cute!!  Thanks Ava!!  Learning about the letter Tt was TTTTTerrific!!
